These are the pins that are primarily available by trading with Disney Cast Members in the theme parks. When the series was created back in 2004, they were called "Cast Lanyard Pins", then in 2007, the designs were changed to include a small Mickey head icon on the front of the pin and they were then known as "Hidden Mickey Pins". In recent years, Disney has begun to sell blind bags with random Hidden Mickey pins in the parks, so they are no longer only available by trading with cast members, but that is the primary way to get them.
These are the most heavily faked (counterfeited) class of pins. But, rest assured that every pin sold here in the Mouse Pin Trading Post is guaranteed to be 100% authentic. All our pins have been verified by our experienced team of experts and is guaranteed.
